Potato Soup
Potato Soup is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 22 minutes. Made with margarine, large onion, chopped, c. potatoes, . vinegar and small can condensed milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Saute onion in butter until soft, but not brown.
Add 5 cups thinly chopped potatoes.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Barely cover with water.
Cook until potatoes fall apart and become thickened. Remove from heat.
Mash with potato masher or fork.
Add vinegar and condensed milk.
Reheat to serving temperature, but do not allow to boil.
Serve with crackers, cornbread or cornsticks. Serves 4 or 5.
