Cream Crisco, brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla on medium speed.
Combine flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, soda and salt.
Beat into creamed mixture at low speed until well blended.
Stir in oats. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375Β° for 13 minutes.
Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to cooling rack.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
