Nana's Chili Soup
Nana'S Chili Soup is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 12 minutes. Made with . hamburger, potatoes, c. large elbow macaroni, small onion and chili (no beans), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In pan, fry hamburger; set aside.
Peel potatoes, cut into small pieces and boil with macaroni.
(When it is finished boiling do not drain water.)
Add onion, chili, stewed tomatoes, salt to taste and chili powder to taste, then add fried hamburger.
The longer you let it simmer the better, at least 30 minutes.
Add water as needed.
Goes really good with Nana's cornbread.
