Marimore Cake(Yields One 8-Inch Double Layer Cake or One 9 X 13-Inch Cake)

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

Add egg yolks; mix well. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.

Add alternately with milk, starting and ending with flour mixture.

Add cooled melted chocolate and vanilla. Fold in egg whites and chopped nuts. Pour into 2 greased 8-inch cake pans or one 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean.
