Leila's Feather Rolls

Combine yeast, 2 teaspoons sugar and warm water.
Stir until dissolved.
Scald milk and add shortening, 1/3 cup sugar and salt. Stir until shortening melted.
Beat eggs and stir into milk mixture.
Stir in yeast and 3 cups flour.
Beat well with a mixer.
Stir remaining
/2 cups flour, it will be a sticky dough.
Cover and refrigerate overnight. Turn out on a floured board and shape into crescent, cloverleaf or Parker House rolls.
Let stand 4 hours, covered with a cloth.
Brush with melted butter and bake for minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 36 to 48 rolls.
