French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy French soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 16 minutes. Made with margarine, large onions, sliced thin, beef bouillon cubes, c. worcestershire sauce and c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Saute onions until golden in margarine.
Add water; bring to boil.
Add bouillon cubes and Worcestershire sauce.
Simmer 1/2 hour, or until ready to eat.
Add grated cheese just before putting in bowls.
In individual bowls, add croutons.
Put Mozzarella cheese over top in each bowl.
Melt cheese in microwave or oven.
