Crock-Pot Roast
Crock-Pot Roast is an moderately easy slow-cooker meal. Made with 1 (4 to 6 lb.) chuck roast, 1 large onion, sliced, 1 pkg. dry lipton onion soup mix, flour and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Sprinkle roast with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Roll roast in flour.
Cover bottom of skillet with oil.
Brown roast on all sides.
Remove roast from skillet; sprinkle more flour into drippings left in skillet.
Stir in enough water to make a very thick gravy.
Pour gravy into bottom of crock-pot.
Place roast on top of gravy.
Insert onion slices between sides of roast.
Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
