Crock-Pot Potatoes
Crock-Pot Potatoes is an moderately easy slow-cooker meal. Made with 12 potatoes, 1 tsp. cream of tartar, flour, salt and pepper and butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Slice all the potatoes; do not peel.
Swish the slices in 2 cups of warm water and cream of tartar.
Grease crock-pot.
Add half the potatoes, 1/4 cup of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
Add remaining potatoes, 1/4 cup of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
Pat 4 tablespoons of butter on top, then spread cans of soup on top.
Cook on high for 3 to 3 1/2 hours, then add 2 cups Cheddar cheese and cook on high another 1/2 hour.
Serves 10 to 12.
