Crock-Pot Dressing
Crock-Pot Dressing is an moderately easy slow-cooker meal. Made with 2 c. self-rising corn meal, 1 c. self-rising flour, 2 stalks celery, diced, 1 large onion, diced and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Combine the corn meal, flour, celery, onion and eggs. Add milk and mix to make batter.
Melt 1/2 stick margarine in each of two iron skillets. Add half the batter to each and bake until done. Break up bread in a large bowl.
Add 1 stick melted margarine, soups, sage, chicken and broth and black pepper.
Pour into crock-pot and cook 45 minutes.
