Creamy Potato Soup
Creamy Potato Soup is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 28 minutes. Made with bacon, c. chopped onion, c. cubed potatoes, c. water and (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In saucepan, cook bacon until crisp.
Set bacon aside.
Pour off all but 3 tablespoons drippings from saucepan.
Add onion; brown.
Add potatoes and water.
Cook, covered, about 15 minutes or until potatoes are done.
Blend in chicken soup, milk and salt. Heat, but do not boil.
To serve, garnish with crisp bacon, sliced or crumbled, and parsley flakes.
