Clair's French Vegetable Beef Soup
Clair'S French Vegetable Beef Soup is an impressive French soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 14 minutes. In 5-quart Dutch oven, brown meat in salad oil on medium-high heat, turning frequently.
Stir in undiluted onion soup, garlic, tomato paste, water, basil, salt and pepper.
Cover and bring to a boil.
Reduce to lowest heat and simmer 2 hours.
Add vegetables and simmer for 2 hours.
