Christmas Hard Candy
Christmas Hard Candy is an easy dessert you can prepare in just 34 minutes. Made with c. granulated sugar, c. water, c. karo light corn syrup, flavors (such as oil of peppermint, cloves, cinnamon, wintergreen, etc.) and shades food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
To make this candy, you will first need a large slab of marble on which to pour the hot candy.
Possibly a large cookie sheet would suffice, but I've always used marble.
You will also need several pairs of scissors and at least 3 additional people to help cut the candy before it sets up.
