Chocolate Italian Cream Cake
Chocolate Italian Cream Cake is an impressive Italian dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with margarine, c. crisco, c. sugar, egg yolks and c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar until fluffy.
Add egg yolks and beat well.
Sift flour and cocoa together and add alternately with buttermilk (to which you have added soda and vanilla).
After mixing well, fold in coconut and beaten egg whites.
Pour into 3 greased, floured and wax paper lined 9-inch cake pans.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cake will fall slightly when cool.
