Chicken Noodle Soup
Chicken Noodle Soup is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 32 minutes. Made with chicken legs or thighs, water, celery stalks, halved, carrots, halved and large onion, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Put chicken in Dutch oven; cover with water.
Add salt, pepper, halved celery, halved carrots, onion and garlic.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and reduce heat; simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Remove and discard celery and carrots.
Remove chicken; bone, skin and cut in bite size pieces.
Return meat to stock.
Add carrot coins and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add noodles and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
