Cherry Nut Bread
Cherry Nut Bread is an impressive baked good you can prepare in about 1 hour 4 minutes. Made with c. all-purpose flour, c. buttermilk, c. chopped pecans or walnuts, c. sugar and c. firmly packed brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Combine all ingredients except cherries in a mixing bowl. Blend on low speed of electric mixer 15 seconds; increase to medium speed and blend 30 additional seconds.
Stir in cherries. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 10 to 15 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes in pan; remove to wire rack and cool completely.
Yields 1 loaf.
