Made with raw peanuts (1 1/2 lb. for 4-quart crock-pot), salt (1/2 c. or less for lightly salted, 3/4 c. for medium salted, 1 c. or more for real salty) and water (whatever it takes to fill up crock-pot after peanuts have been added), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Put some good (i.e., fattening) vanilla ice cream in a blender.
Instead of milk, add apple cider (preferably fresh, sweet and pulpy).
Add cinnamon to taste.
Tastes just like apple pie ala mode.
