Swirl Coffee Cake
Swirl Coffee Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 2 hours 14 minutes. Made with c. margarine, c. sugar, eggs, . pure vanilla and c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In large bowl, beat butter until creamy.
Gradually add the 1 cup sugar, beating until fluffy.
Add the eggs, vanilla and sour cream; beat until well blended.
Sift together flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Gradually add this mixture to the creamed mixture, beating at low speed just until blended.
Pour 1/2 batter into ungreased 10-inch tube pan.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon cinnamon and the chopped nuts.
Pour 1/2 of this sugar mixture over the batter.
Top with remaining batter and remaining sugar mixture.
Swirl lightly with knife to marble.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes in 375Β° preheated oven.
Cool 10 minutes.
Turn out of pan to cool on rack.
Makes 1 (10-inch) cake.
