Lasagna
Lasagna is an impressive pasta dish you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with medium onion, chopped, garlic, minced, . ground beef, (16 oz.) can tomatoes and (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Saute onion, garlic and beef until brown.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, salt, basil, sugar, pepper and bay leaf and simmer uncovered about 1 1/2 hours.
Remove bay leaf.
Spread 1/2 cup meat sauce in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, starting with noodles. Make 3 layers, each of noodles, cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, meat sauce and Parmesan.
Bake at 325Β° for 45 minutes.
