Beefy Rotini in Tomato Sauce
My grandma and mom used to make this all the time. I never cared for it as a child, but now that I'm grown I get a craving for it every once in a while. It's a simple, saucy meal that feeds a crowd.
π Recipe adapted from AllRecipes
Heat a large, heavy pot over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef, onions, and garlic in the hot skillet until beef is browned and crumbly and onions and garlic are softened, 5 to 7 minutes. Add tomato juice, tomato sauce, bouillon cubes, chili powder, garlic salt, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, while stirring. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until reduced, 30 to 40 minutes. Meanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 12 minutes. Drain. Stir pasta into sauce and serve hot.
