Bacon Potato Chowder
Bacon Potato Chowder is an moderately easy soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 32 minutes. Made with . bacon, med.-lg. potatoes, cubed, c. onion, c. water and c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cut bacon into pieces.
Fry in heavy pot until crispy.
Add onion, and saute for 5 minutes.
Drain grease, leaving about 1 Tbsp. in pan for flavor.
Add potatoes and water.
Cook until potatoes are done.
In separate bowl, combine milk, soup, sour cream and seasonings.
Add potatoes. Heat to serving temperature. Do not boil.
Makes 4-6 servings.
